Bank payments, PAWS and City Hall

Which number do I use for bank payments?

Use the customer utility account number on the bill, following the City's Online Utility Payment Guide. Tax folio payments are a different service. Save the bank confirmation and allow enough time for the payment to reach the utility account.

How does automatic utility payment work?

Utility PAWS deducts the total on the due date unless the account has a credit balance. Manage it through Property Account or submit the signed form with a void cheque or bank debit form. Each utility account needs its own application.

How much notice is needed to change PAWS?

Contact Utility Billing Customer Care at least 20 days before the due date to stop payments or change bank details. Selling a property does not automatically cancel withdrawals. Contact 250-469-8757 to confirm the account and requested change.
