Winemaking in some major regions of the world can be an ‘industrial’ undertaking, but for us here at Iconic Wineries of British Columbia, every decision in the vineyard has a direct impact on the quality of what ultimately ends up in the bottle.
Exceptional vineyards require more than great farming practices. They require clear insights, strong operational discipline, and the ability to understand the story behind the data.
Our vineyards generate vast amounts of information every season, from labour and productivity metrics to purchasing activity, operational costs, vineyard performance trends, and planning data. The opportunity is no longer collecting data. It is transforming that information into meaningful insights that help our teams make better decisions.
The Role
As our Vineyard Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us better understand, measure, and optimize the performance of our vineyard operations. Sitting at the intersection of data, operations, finance, and viticulture, you will transform complex operational information into actionable insights that improve productivity, strengthen cost visibility, and support decision-making across our vineyards. This is a highly collaborative role that combines business analysis, operational reporting, procurement support, and data visualization. You will work closely with Vineyard Managers, operational leaders, and finance partners to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and build reporting tools that provide clarity across vineyard operations. More than a reporting role, this is an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective, challenge assumptions with data, and help shape how vineyard performance is measured and managed for years to come.
