Original job description

Role and Facility Information

Family Physician Opportunity – Join Our Thriving Medical Team in Beautiful West Kelowna!

Towne Centre Medical Clinic is a well-established community clinic that has been serving the region for over 25 years. We are seeking a Family Physician to join our group practice in an under-serviced community of approximately 41,000 residents. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding practice in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Accept new patients and provide longitudinal care.
Conduct family practice phone calls and in-person visits, managing health issues as they arise.
Complete thorough EMR documentation of all encounters using Accuro, and manage results in accordance with College guidelines.
Work within our clinic hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am–4 pm) and set your own schedule.
Participate in team coverage for vacations, illnesses, and absences to ensure continuity of care.

Why Join Us?

High Patient Demand: We turn away 30–50 patients daily due to limited availability. Physicians here enjoy full schedules and flexibility to see same-day patients, maximizing both impact and income.
Comprehensive Support: Our clinic provides well-trained staff, an experienced clinic manager, and optional urgent care services with on-site resources.
Convenient Location: Situated in central West Kelowna, we’re surrounded by paramedical services - optometry, physiotherapy - and an after-hours urgent care facility.
Academic Opportunities: Kelowna is home to UBC’s Okanagan Campus and medical school, offering chances to teach and mentor future physicians.

Our Team

We pride ourselves on being a cohesive, welcoming group of colleagues who support one another. Our physicians enjoy collaboration, work-life balance, and the backing of a highly experienced clinic manager and helpful office staff.

Lifestyle You’ll Love

The Central Okanagan is one of Canada’s most desirable regions, boasting stunning lake and mountain views and endless recreation: hiking, biking, water sports, golf, skiing, and world-class wineries. What We Offer

A welcoming, supportive team environment.
A steady flow of patients and opportunities to grow your practice.
A vibrant community with exceptional lifestyle benefits.
