Original job description

Role and Facility Information

The UBC Okanagan Student Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate and collaborative physician to join our multidisciplinary team in supporting the health and wellbeing of more than 12,000 students on one of Canada's fastest-growing university campuses. Located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, our clinic provides comprehensive primary care, mental health support, preventive services, and health promotion programming to a diverse student population. Physicians who join our team have the unique opportunity to practice in a collegial environment that values innovation, education, and student-centered care while enjoying flexible scheduling and a strong interdisciplinary support network.

At UBC Okanagan, you will be part of a vibrant academic community dedicated to fostering student success through accessible, high-quality healthcare. Our clinic offers the rewarding experience of caring for young adults during a pivotal stage of their lives while contributing to a culture of wellness across campus. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss how your interests and expertise align with our mission and invite you to explore the professional and lifestyle benefits of practicing in Kelowna and the Okanagan region.

Youth health is a rewarding practice area and impact is significant. UBC is a positive environment, with an academic rhythm that has some slower times of year.
Student Health Clinic is integral part of interdisiplinary campus health services including case managers, counsellors, dieticians, health promotion, embedded psychologist., and more.
